Evan was born and raised in Peoria, Illinois. He graduated the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.A. in Political Science. Then, he wrote his first novel, Zephyr, a dystopian family saga. Then, he started screenwriting.

He’s currently pursuing his Master of Fine Arts in Screenwriting at the University of Texas - Austin — one word and one taco at a time.
